As we reflect on the last two academic sessions, we are full of gratitude to God for leading us to Edgewood College. We say it was a right choice for our daughter Oluwafikayomi, and for the family.
The school was very welcoming. The commitment of the academic and administrative staff to the things Edgewood stands for is easily noticeable. We were particularly impressed by the efforts the teachers put into preparing the students for the IGCSE exam - the extra classes in the evenings and weekends, and the shared burden by teachers who were not teaching the exam classes! It looked like teachers were themselves writing the exams.

My heart is filled with deep gratitude as I reflect on the role your school played in the life of my daughter, Oluwasemilore, who graduated from medical school last week. Thank you for being more than a proprietress. Thank you for building an environment of discipline, excellence, godly values, and academic strength that helped shape her future. The foundation laid during her secondary school years and A level became a stepping stone to the great milestone we are celebrating today. Your dedication, sacrifices, encouragement, and commitment to raising young lives are truly bearing fruits, and my family is a living testimony of it. May God continue to strengthen you, enlarge your coast, and reward your labor of love abundantly. Thank you for believing in your students and nurturing destinies with passion and grace. We remain sincerely grateful.

Grateful for the leadership of the College, in particular Mrs Kehinde Phillips (and Mrs Taiwo Thompson by proxy). Much appreciation goes to the Academic & Non-academic staff, people who love their calling, who are passionate about teaching.
Super proud of the boys for the hard work they put in. It was a long grueling period. I was not the student but will periodically ask…how can I aid your assimilation, need any goodies? The usual answer from my non-entitled awesome boys is…it’s ok mum, we are good mum, no worries mum. I will reply…Okay oooo.

We found the boarding facilities to be exactly as you described it - situated in Lekki but not of Lekki. Fikayomi was in the hostel for less than 5 months but that was a very impactful experience - friendship, responsibility, diligence and fun memories!

Another aspect of the experience to not miss mentioning is the spiritual uplifting of Edgewood students. The Friday prayer sessions were beyond academics. Hearing from our daughter that teachers prayed with them as they concluded revision and released them for exam was moving, to say the least. We appreciate and celebrate your entire staff. Our journey began in September 2025 when my daughter, Michelle, joined the A-Levels programme. It is obvious we were divinely guided to choose Edgewood College, and our decision has truly paid off.
