Welcome to Edgewood College
Welcome to Edgewood College (Secondary), a leading secondary school and sixth form college built on a strong tradition of excellence. Here, academic success goes hand in hand with character formation. Our learners are guided to become the best they can be for God and for humanity, growing into selfless, confident, and exemplary leaders.
Our college is grounded in strong discipline, Christian values, and a culture of excellence. With dedicated, professional educators and a nurturing learning environment in the heart of Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, every student enjoys an experience designed to shape their mind, strengthen their character, and give them an unmistakable edge among their peers.
While this website outlines our rich curriculum, including the secondary school, A Level Programme, University Foundation Programme, and Medical Foundation Programme, we warmly invite you to reach out or visit us. We are always happy to provide guidance, answer questions, and help you discover why Edgewood College is the right place for your child’s growth and success.
As we reflect on the last two academic sessions, we are full of gratitude to God for leading us to Edgewood College. We say it was a right choice for our daughter Oluwafikayomi, and for the family.
The school was very welcoming. The commitment of the academic and administrative staff to the things Edgewood stands for is easily noticeable. We were particularly impressed by the efforts the teachers put into preparing the students for the IGCSE exam - the extra classes in the evenings and weekends, and the shared burden by teachers who were not teaching the exam classes! It looked like teachers were themselves writing the exams.
I thank the Edgewood Management, and Faculty for their kind support and patience in teaching and grooming all the children put in their care at Edgewood College. All the Glory is The Lord's! I give The Almighty Thanks and Praise.
This is good assurance that Golibe is settling in well, having only just joined the School last month. My prayer is that she continues to prove her mettle academically, socially, spiritually, morally and otherwise, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Special thanks and appreciation to Mrs Kehinde Phillips for giving her/the family the opportunity to be a part of the Edgewood Community. We are grateful. Glory be to God.
I want to say a huge thank you for all you did for Paul throughout his years at Edgewood. I and his father are so grateful for all the love, attention and dedication from you and the school. God bless you.
My prayer for you shall always be that God continues to grow and prosper you in all you set out to do. We have absolutely no words to express our gratitude.
Thanks so much.
Tobi George & Femi George graduate from Edgewood College! Grateful to God for the choice of School. It was God-inspired for sure. Perfect for this season!
Grateful for the leadership of the College, in particular Mrs Kehinde Phillips (and Mrs Taiwo Thompson by proxy). Much appreciation goes to the Academic & Non-academic staff, people who love their calling, who are passionate about teaching.
Super proud of the boys for the hard work they put in. It was a long grueling period. I was not the student but will periodically ask…how can I aid your assimilation, need any goodies? The usual answer from my non-entitled awesome boys is…it’s ok mum, we are good mum, no worries mum. I will reply…Okay oooo.
We found the boarding facilities to be exactly as you described it - situated in Lekki but not of Lekki. Fikayomi was in the hostel for less than 5 months but that was a very impactful experience - friendship, responsibility, diligence and fun memories!
Another aspect of the experience to not miss mentioning is the spiritual uplifting of Edgewood students. The Friday prayer sessions were beyond academics. Hearing from our daughter that teachers prayed with them as they concluded revision and released them for exam was moving, to say the least.
We appreciate and celebrate your entire staff. God bless you.
Tobi got 3 awards and came 3rd overall in 6th Form. Femi got 5 awards for Year 11. I am in awe of their excellent behavior too! The Art Teacher said of Femo…Few students make an impression on a teacher, making them unforgettable for life, Femi is one. His work is so mature, light years beyond his years. This is a big deal as they changed schools and were behind on the curriculum. Kudos Boys
Special mention is by how much the boys have grown in their walk with God, how they have deepened their relationship with God. You see, Edgewood is an unapologetic Christian College with daily devotional, monthly praise events, excellent christian materials….carrying both pupils and parents along. I am delighted!
I commit their future to Him who makes all things perfect!
Focusing on high education with the best quality.
